The family crest, part of which appears below, consists of a shield with a band of blue emblazoned with a lily. In the lower left corner there is a red lion; in the top right there is a fringe with three red pendants. Above the shield is a helmet with a crown above that. The crown is gold, decorated with 8 large pearls of which 5 are visible. It is a crest worthy of a distinguished military family.
